McLean, Virginia
McLean is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Fairfax County, between the Potomac River and Vienna. Because it has no town government of its own, building permits, inspections and code questions for a McLean kitchen go to Fairfax County. Its housing ranges from mid-century homes to large, recently built custom houses, which is why kitchen projects here vary so much in scope.
Nearby communities we serve
- Vienna
- Great Falls
- Oakton
- Reston
All four are in Fairfax County like McLean. (The Town of Vienna is an incorporated town within the county, so check with the town as well as the county for anything that touches zoning in Vienna.) Kitchen Kings' wider service area also includes Herndon, Ashburn, Sterling, Aldie, Chantilly, Centreville and South Riding.
Why county matters
Northern Virginia homeowners sometimes assume permits work the same everywhere. They don't. McLean, Great Falls, Oakton and Reston are handled by Fairfax County Land Development Services; projects in Ashburn or Aldie go to Loudoun County. Working regularly in both counties means we plan for the right office from the first visit. Our permits page covers the Fairfax County basics.
Local work we can show
We don't have a photographed McLean kitchen to show yet. Our project photos are real Kitchen Kings work from elsewhere, including a remodel in Herndon, and are labeled that way.
